Colour charts for vinyl, latex, super soft PVC & linings
Choose the colour that best matches your material, design and intended use. These colour charts show the main material groups currently available for made-to-order RIMO Fashion garments from our German atelier.
Many RIMO garments are made individually to order. Please also check our current overview of material arrivals, delivery times and atelier workload.
Vinyl fabric 342 g/sqm – high-gloss PU vinyl
Our 342 g/sqm PU vinyl has a very glossy, water-repellent surface and remains slightly cross-elastic thanks to its polyurethane base. It is a strong choice for premium raincoats, capes, trench coats and other RIMO designs with a distinctive glossy vinyl look.
Vinyl fabric 300 g/sqm – robust PVC-coated vinyl
This 300 g/sqm PVC-coated vinyl is durable, robust and well suited to rainwear that needs a little more structure and resilience.
Vinyl fabric 200 g/sqm – soft, light and colour-rich
This 200 g/sqm PU vinyl is soft, flexible and available in a wide range of colours. It works especially well for light summer raincoats, loose cuts, full skirts, trousers, overalls, shirts and quilted pieces.

Super Soft PVC – transparent, translucent and glossy films
Our Super Soft PVC is very light, supple and smooth to the touch. Depending on the colour, it may be clear, translucent, glossy opaque or matt.

Asian latex – standard, metallic and translucent colours
Latex colours are difficult to reproduce accurately on screen. In case of doubt, please request material samples where available or visit our studio in Germany.
Standard colours
Available in material thicknesses 0.5–0.6 mm and 0.7–0.8 mm. Other thicknesses may be available on request.
Metallic colours
Available in material thicknesses 0.5 mm and 0.8 mm. Please ask about delivery times before ordering.
Translucent colours
Available in material thicknesses 0.5 mm and 0.8 mm. Other thicknesses may be available on request.
EU latex & Datex
EU latex and Datex are available in selected standard, metallic and structured versions. Datex is available only in specific colours and thicknesses.
Standard colours
Latex is available in 0.5 mm and 0.8 mm. Other thicknesses may be available on request. Datex is available in 0.6 mm and only in black, red and black snakeskin.
Metallic colours
Latex is available in 0.5 mm. Other thicknesses may be available on request. Datex is available in 0.45 mm and 0.6 mm.
Structured latex
Latex is available in 0.5 mm. Other thicknesses may be available on request. Datex is available in 0.45 mm and 0.6 mm.
Linings – polyester and nylon
Polyester and nylon can be used as inner linings for vinyl garments. Nylon is especially durable and resistant to moisture.
Polyester lining
Our polyester lining weighs approx. 95 g/sqm and is suitable as a colour-matched inner lining for vinyl garments.
Nylon lining
Nylon is very durable; moisture, dirt and mud can usually be wiped away with a damp cloth.

Selected imitation and faux fur options are available for special winter pieces and statement designs.

Frequently asked questions about colours & materials
A few notes to help you assess colour, gloss, transparency and material thickness before ordering.
Do the colours look exactly the same on screen as in real life?
No. Gloss, lighting, monitor settings and the structure of the material can significantly affect how a colour appears. The charts are intended as a guide.
Can I request material samples?
If you are choosing between similar colours, material samples can be helpful. Please ask us in advance which colours are currently available.
Can every colour be used for every RIMO design?
Not always. Some materials are better suited to light summer raincoats, while others work better for structured rainwear, capes, winter garments or special custom designs.
