Due to the lack of module updates and new updates to our webshop software, we unfortunately had to redesign the ordering process on our website once again. We took this opportunity to update and change a few fundamental things. The new version of our webshop also comes with a new, slightly modified design. Both the homepage and product pages have been revised accordingly.

On the front page of our webshop, new visitors will now find some important information about us at first glance. It was important for us to emphasize that we predominantly produce on-demand (without maintaining a large inventory) and that this production is done on an individual basis in Germany. This means that we exclusively produce each garment ordered from us exclusively for you in our tailor's studio in the german city of Wuppertal, completely according to your specifications and wishes. Mass-produced and off-the-shelf items are not to be found here. This has been our distinguishing feature since 1993 and will naturally remain so.

New configuration process (color selection, etc.) on the product pages

However, one of the most important innovations is the new ordering process on our product pages. Unfortunately, we had to replace the existing module due to the lack of updates, as it was no longer compatible with iOS devices and the latest version of our webshop software.

The new module now guides you step by step through the ordering process. Typically, you first select the desired material, followed by the color, additional features (such as the type of buttons), and finally, the desired size - custom-made options are also available. Some options may have additional charges, which are clearly indicated. At the end, the total price of your configuration will be displayed - the product price at the top will be constantly updated during this ordering process, showing the current live price according to your selected configuration.

To complete your desired configuration, you can add it to your shopping cart.

Unfortunately, the new module is only availabe in german language for now. We recommend using automated translation extensions or addons for your Browser (Firefox, Chrome, Edge etc.) or translate the specific words with google translate, DeepL, ChatGPT or whatever you prefer. Most should be self-explanatory anyways. Here, for example, in a first step you chose the material of your clothing:

1. Choice of material: First, you select the weight of the outer material (or, in the case of latex material, the thickness of the material), here divided into shiny, metallic shiny, and matte materials. After that, the available colors for this selection will be displayed to you.
   
   
2. Color selection: In the second step, you choose a color for the outer material. To do this, click on one of the images, and the color will be marked with a blue checkmark. The color name is always displayed above the respective image (in german).
   
   
3. Lining selection: In this step, you choose the type of lining. Some options may have an additional cost, as they involve extra material expenses and increased production effort.
   
   
4. We will skip the remaining intermediate steps at this point. Typically, you can still choose the color of the lining and, if applicable, the color of the buttons. Then, we proceed to determine the size.
   
   
5. Size selection: You can choose whether the selected garment will be made according to standard sizes based on our size chart ("nach Konfektionsgröße") or completely custom-made ("nach Maß"). Custom-made options have an additional cost, as they require increased work effort and, among other things, the creation of new patterns. Custom-made measurements are necessary, especially for sizes that are not covered by our size charts.
   
   
6. Detailed measurements:   If you have opted for a custom-made garment, in this step, you provide the necessary detailed measurements. If you have any questions regarding the measurements, please feel free to contact us.

   If you have chosen a standard size, you instead select the corresponding size based on our size chart. Please refer to our size chart to determine the correct size for your order. However, you still have the option to provide additional detailed measurements if you are unsure or if certain measurements deviate slightly. Please note that in this case, we will only make minor adjustments to the pattern and not create a fully custom-made garment.

7. Next, there may be an option for length selection. Extended lengths incur an additional cost and are typically charged at 30 euros per 5 cm. This is primarily because it requires extra material and adjustments to the cutting process, as the materials may have different widths and result in more waste.

   In the penultimate step, you can provide us with any additional notes or comments. Finally, there will be a summary of all selected options, including their net prices, as well as the total additional cost.

10. In the final step, you can add the selected configuration to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout as usual. By clicking on the "i" symbol, you can review the chosen options once again in the shopping cart before finalizing your purchase.
    
    
    

This new ordering process is designed to be detailed and intuitive, providing both you and us with the assurance that the product being produced or received is exactly what is desired. It allows for a step-by-step selection of options, ensuring that all specifications and preferences are taken into account. This helps to minimize any misunderstandings or discrepancies, ultimately resulting in a higher level of customer satisfaction.

New Categories

After bidding farewell to the traditional division between women's and men's clothing in the last update, we are now introducing new categories in addition to rainwear ("Rainwear"), streetwear ("Streetwear"), and fetish wear ("Kinkwear"). These new categories include party wear ("Partywear") and ready-to-ship inventory ("In-Stock"). Within the main and subcategories, you can still filter the displayed garments by men's and women's models. However, we want to emphasize that all our garments can be custom-made for any gender upon request.

Under Partywear, you will find clothing specifically designed for parties or events that may require certain materials or more revealing outfits, such as the Flowers & Bees event in Essen.

New Section: Directly Available In-Stock Items

After careful planning, we have finally implemented a new section where you can find pre-produced inventory alongside our made-to-order garments. This section includes display items, prototypes (based on new patterns or made from new materials), as well as one-of-a-kind pieces created from no longer available or non-reorderable materials. Currently, only a few items are listed in this section, but we will gradually expand it.

Please keep in mind that the in-stock items offered here are unique and only available once, but they can be delivered directly (estimated delivery time for Germany is approximately 2-3 working days). When placing an order, please consider the provided detailed measurements to ensure the product fits you correctly.

New Material: 373g/m² Vinyl Fabric

For our range of gloss capes, we now offer a new variation of outer fabric made from our heavy 373g/m² glossy material. This material is very heavy and rigid, making it suitable only for our cape production and appealing specifically to those who appreciate these material properties. When placing an order, please note that the 373g glossy fabric is inflexible and stiff.

Due to the higher procurement costs compared to our other material options and the increased difficulty in processing, choosing this material incurs an additional charge.
