Two-tone vinyl cape “Duana” – your colours, your cape
The women’s short cape “Duana” combines a sleek, narrow silhouette with a striking two-tone design. Choose the main and accent colours to suit your style, and we will make your glossy vinyl cape to order in our atelier in Germany.
The contrasting colour placement highlights the distinctive cut. The centre front and back form the main body, while the side panels, outer hood, inner collar and arm-opening cover flaps are made in the second colour. Depending on your combination, “Duana” can look boldly graphic, playfully colourful or deliberately understated.

Choose your colour combination
First select your preferred main colour in the configurator. The second colour becomes the accent colour for the side panels, outer hood, inner collar and arm-opening cover flaps. If you have a combination in mind that is not shown on our regular colour chart, please contact us before ordering. We will be happy to check whether a suitable material is available.
Available fabric options
- 200 gsm glossy coated fabric: 80% polyurethane, 20% polyester – lighter and more fluid in movement
- 342 gsm glossy coated fabric: 100% polyurethane – a substantial, shape-defining finish with a pronounced glossy appearance
- 373 gsm glossy coated fabric: 80% polyester, 20% polyurethane – an extra-rigid special option available exclusively for rain capes at an additional charge
Your choice of fabric affects the weight, flexibility and overall silhouette of the cape. If you are unsure which option will create the look and drape you want, we will be pleased to advise you before you order.
Optional lining
As standard, “Duana” is made without a lining. At an additional charge, you may choose classic lining fabric in 100% polyester, soft PVC in 100% PVC, durable rain nylon in 100% polyamide or glossy coated fabric in a coordinating colour. Please contact us if you would like to discuss another lining option.
Size, length and made-to-measure options
Please use our size chart to select the appropriate ready-to-wear size. The standard finished length is approximately 90 cm. Alternative lengths, sizes outside our standard chart and individual made-to-measure adjustments are available at an additional charge. Contact us before ordering if you would like help with measurements or sizing.
About the product images
The images show a sample made from 342 gsm glossy coated fabric in black (#365) and an orange material that is no longer available. Blood Orange in the 200 gsm fabric may be a suitable currently available alternative. Colour, gloss and drape may vary according to the chosen fabric weight, lighting and screen settings. In appropriately labelled images, the model and/or shooting environment was created digitally with AI. The cape shown and all construction details are based on real product references.
Frequently asked questions about “Duana”
Can I choose both colours?
Yes. You choose one main colour and one accent colour. The accent colour is used for the side panels, outer hood, inner collar and arm-opening cover flaps.
Is the hood detachable?
Yes. The hood is secured to the cape with three snap fasteners and can be removed completely. Side fastening tabs and a drawcord provide additional adjustment.
Where are the arm openings?
The arm openings are incorporated into the front panel seams. The actual opening sits directly behind the inner edge of each long cover flap, facing the centre-front panel.
Which fabric weight should I choose?
The 200 gsm option is lighter and more fluid, while the 342 gsm option creates a stronger, more structured silhouette. For an intentionally extra-rigid cape, the 373 gsm fabric is available at an additional charge. We will be happy to advise you based on the look and intended use you have in mind.
Can I order a different length or made-to-measure adjustments?
Yes. The standard length is approximately 90 cm. Alternative lengths, non-standard sizes and individual adjustments are available at an additional charge and should be agreed with us before ordering.
